Consulted with customers on the design of their framed items. Design elements include: Color of frame, material of frame, color of mat borders, number of mat borders, material of mat borders, shape of mat border opening, type of glazing (glass, acrylic), preservation, and display. Framed a wide array of items from Images, Documents, and artwork, to sports memorabilia, clothing, and musical instruments. Responsible for all aspects of frame creation and assembly. Processes of frame assembly include: cutting of wooden, metal, or plastic frames, gluing and joining of frames, cutting of glass or acrylic, use of CNC mat cutter for framed item borders, cleaning of all elements to be assembled, assembly of frame package, cleaning and finishing of final frame package.
